Parent Stories
Courtney saved our son from failing math this year. He was really struggling until we met Courtney. She also has amazing skills with dyslexia, which also hinders our son with understanding math and numbers. Courtney makes it fun and interesting and we can’t thank her enough for the help and support that she has given our son this year!

We have been so grateful to have Ms. Gasper as our son’s tutor this past academic year. She has worked with him in both math and language arts, and the growth we have seen in just one session per week has been incredible. His confidence and academic skills have improved dramatically, and his report card at the end of the year looked completely different from where he started.
What we appreciate most is that Ms. Gasper makes learning fun. Our son no longer dreads homework or extra learning time—in fact, he gets excited to visit Ms. Gasper at her little tutoring house in our neighborhood each week. Her patience, encouragement, and ability to connect with children have made a tremendous difference in his attitude toward school and learning.
We are so thankful to have Ms. Gasper as part of our Hillcrest neighborhood and as a wonderful support for our Pulaski Heights Elementary community. We highly recommend her to any family looking for a caring, dedicated, and exceptional tutor. Thank you, Ms. Gasper, for the positive impact you have had on our son and our family!

Courtney Gasper has been an invaluable resource to our daughter's learning. She has tutored her for over two years and has helped her out so much in many ways. Mrs. Gasper has developed a well-rounded plan to help our daughter in multiple subjects. She is always very prepared for her time with our daughter, she keeps each session fun and engaging, and is so easy to work with. We have recommended her to several other families who now use her services as well. We love Mrs. Gasper!

Courtney H. Gasper,
Owner and Teacher
Regardless of what I am teaching a student, my number one goal is for them to want to come back tomorrow. I want students to enjoy learning. Whether I am focusing on strengthening your child’s literacy skills or building confidence in math, I want your child to enjoy the learning process.
I was a classroom teacher for 25 years, but I found so much joy and success in working with students one-on-one I retired to become a tutor full-time. I strive to build relationships with my students and their families in order to create lessons that meet each child’s interests and academic needs.
I am certified to work with students with dyscalculia and will receive training as an Certified Academic Language Therapist in July and will begin using the Take Flight curriculum to support learners with dyslexia this summer.
So many of my sessions end with students saying, “It’s already time to leave?” or “I am not ready to go.”
In addition to improved test scores, increased confidence, and higher grades, I want your child to feel excited learning. That is another important measure of success!
